Members of Seaford Musical Theatre are performing The Wizard of Oz at the Barn Theatre in Seaford next month and tickets are expected to sell out. The show is being performed from 8th – 10th June and 15th – 17th June with both matinee and evening performances.
Charlie Dey and Mick Rowe-Hurst are making their debut performance for Seaford Musical Theatre as Dorothy and the Scarcrow, with Jo Salter, Stephanie Verall, Shar Turnball and Josh Henry starring as Glinda, The Wicked Witch of the West, the Lion and Tin Man. The munchkins will be played by members of the award-winning Junior section of the Barn Theatre.
The story was originally written by L Frank Baum as a children’s novel titled “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. In 1939 the story became famous with the film adaption starring Judy Garland and featured all the most-loved iconic songs.
