Seaford school’s gardening club boost

A Newhaven garden centre has reached out to a local school to support their gardening club.

Paradise Park donated compost, vegetable plants and seed potatoes to Cradle Hill Community Primary School in Seaford. The children received them enthusiastically and quickly got to work planting their new beds. “It was a delight to see them at work”, said Mark Gilbert a director of the Avis Road business. “They had beaming smiles and were really enjoying their first steps in horticulture.”
