WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT CELEB-PACKED AWARD CEREMONY AT THE SAVOY HOTEL IN LONDON ON THURSDAY 8TH AUGUST 2019
  MONTY (from East Grinstead) is in the Outstanding Rescue Cat category :
Olivia and Dave were dealt the cruellest of blows when Dave was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer. Determined to make the most of their time together, the young couple adopted Monty, whose entertaining antics provided comfort during the most difficult of times. Tragically, Dave died just a few months later surrounded by those he loved – his wife, family and Monty.
 
NALA (from Brighton) is in the Outstanding Rescue Cat category:
Charlotte and Nala were always the best of friends but when Charlotte was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer, that friendship became more important. With Nala at her side, Charlotte fought the bravest of battles until tragically, she died aged just 19. Three years on, Nala still recognises Charlotte’s voice on her videos, and helps the family keep her memory alive.
 
The finalists now need to wait until Thursday 8 August when winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at London’s Savoy, an event attended by celebrities including entrepreneur Deborah Meaden, former England goalkeeper David Seaman and his wife, Dancing on Ice star Frankie Seaman.
