Horsham resident Hedley Woodman has been announced as the winner of Ignition – a campaign to help start-up businesses with £7,000 worth of time and resources from local industry professionals.

Hedley, who is a veterinary surgeon by trade, wowed the judges with his eco-friendly alternative for the veterinary sector. He will receive a free advert from The District Post, business mentoring from NYEs Building Supplies MD Rex Nye, help with brand strategy and design from PMW Communications and a ‘Brand DNA Workshop’ along with four quarterly two-hour business mentoring sessions from Kreston Reeves.

Tracie Carter, from PMW Communications, said:

“Hedley put forward a well-thought through and thorough business case, which was extremely well presented with attention to the fine.
