Playground users reminded to practice good hand hygiene

Childrens’ play areas in Eastbourne reopened earlier this month in line with government guidance on easing lockdown measures.

Parents are reminded they are responsible for their children’s hand hygiene, and good practice such as applying sanitiser before and after using the equipment is recommended.

Meanwhile, public toilets are open usual summertime hours, from 8am to 7pm, and are cleaned twice daily.

People using the toilets are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and requested to wash their hands after using the facilities.

Although this advice issued by Eastbourne Council, it is just common sense and applies to all playgrounds wherever you are.
