Here is some news from a Seaford Town Council meeting held recently concerning Christmas Magic. It’s something really special for the town, so lets hope not too many restrictions:-

CS11/09/20 Apologies for Absence and Declaration of Substitute Members
Apologies for absence were received from Councillor J Cash (Councillor O Honeyman substituted for).
Cllr B Webb joined the meeting at 7.05pm
CS12/09/20 Disclosure of Interests
No declarations were made of disclosable pecuniary interests or interests other than pecuniary interests as defined under the Seaford Town Council Code of Conduct and the Localism Act 2011, in relation to matters on the agenda.
CS13/09/20 Public Participation
There were no members of the public present.
CS14/09/20 2020 Christmas Magic Revisions
The Committee considered report 62/20 presenting the Committee with alternative places for the 2020 Seaford Christmas Magic event.
The Projects & Facilities Manager updated on the most current situation, including other local festive events that have been cancelled. The Committee discussed the new proposed arrangements and
measures to be in place for Seaford Christmas Magic 2020.
CS14.1 It was RESOLVED to AGREE that Town Council Officers work with the Christmas Magic Committee to deliver the event as presented in the report.
CS14.2 It was RESOLVED to AGREE that Town Council Officers in consultation with the Chair of Community Services may deviate from the event plan as presented in the report where required due to Health & Safety concerns, COVID-19 restrictions or other such similar factors outside of the Town Council’s control.
CS14.3 It was RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that Full Council agrees that any surplus sponsorship funds from Seaford Christmas Magic 2020 be placed in an ear-marked reserve for future year’s Seaford Christmas Magic events.
