Whether you’re mowing the lawn, soaking in the bath, or ‘Hinching’ your home, they wanted to discover the most popular songs and artists that make up the ultimate soundtrack for the home.

They analysed over 1,000,000 songs from Spotify playlists named after the activities you get up to at home, including ‘vacuuming’, ‘ironing’, ‘bath’, ‘showering’ and more.

There’s definitely a trend towards current artists, with the top 10 overwhelming favouring artists who’ve found fame in recent years, but legendary stalwarts Fleetwood Mac and ELO manage to make the top 10.

She’s still only 18 but Billie Eilish had the most songs across all of the playlists we analysed, while Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles complete the top three.
