The Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition

Back in October the Mayor launched the ‘Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition’ with local primary schools.
Due to restrictions, schools were asked to choose their top three entries to be considered for the overall winner that was to be made into an electronic civic Christmas card.

The theme of the competition was ‘The First Christmas Reimagined in Seaford’.
All entries were simply wonderful and it was hard to choose an overall winner, therefore two entries were chosen belonging to Charlotte aged 10, and a student from Cradle Hill School.
The e-cards will be emailed out to civic dignitaries and others from the Mayor of Seaford on behalf of the Town Council.
Cllr Reed sends this greetings to all –
“Our Christmas Card designs this year are drawn by Seaford children. They portray smiling Nativity characters, Christmas hope in our world facing challenges. I join with our children to send you Christmas Greetings and Happy New Year for 2021.”

Pictured is one of the entries to the competition. Others can be seen on the Seaford Council Facebook page. Worth a look!
