Seaford Town Council’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Position Statement

The Town Council has been regularly monitoring the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) both
locally and nationally. Following the most recent announcement by the national Government to place
Seaford and the Lewes District (as well as many surrounding areas) into Tier Four with effect from00.01am Saturday 26th December 2020, the following arrangements are in place:
The View at Seaford Head
Unfortunately, due to the restrictions within Tier Four, The View will remain closed until further notice.

as soon as possible. Any bookings are subject to restrictions that may be in place.

Seaford Head Golf Course
Seaford Head Golf Course re-opened on Wednesday 2nd December 2020 and will continue to be opendespite being in Tier Four.
Seaford Head Golf Course will have to restrict playing groups to the following ONLY:
a. Individual play.
b. Maximum two-balls with non-household or support bubble members.
c. Three-balls or Four-balls only permitted if from same household or support bubble.
d. Where Tee-times are pre-booked.
e. It is the responsibility of those playing to make sure they follow these rules without exception, and this must be declared when bookings are made.

Town Council Facilities and Concessions
All other Town Council facilities and concessions are remaining open, adhering to Tier Four restrictions, with the exception of non-essential retail concessions.

To confirm, the Town Council’s refreshment and ice cream concessions will continue trading on a takeaway basis only.

The Town Council urges members of the public to use facilities responsibly, complying with guidance on social distancing;
• Maintaining 2 metres distance from those not a part of your household
• Meeting no more than 1 person outside from a different household
• Not meeting with anyone inside who is not in your household or support bubble
• Reducing contact with shared surfaces as much as possible
• Ensuring you wash your hands regularly and thoroughly, in particular when you have been outside your home
