Newhaven to welcome opening of new The Range store

The Range, Eastbourne

Popular Home, Leisure and Garden superstore The Range is opening a new site in Newhaven.

It will be spread over two floors and will have a garden centre and an Iceland store under the same roof.

The retailer is currently on the look out for staff as it is scheduled to open it’s doors on April 30th.

It is set to employ up to 50 part-time and 35 full-time members of staff, which is fantastic for our local economy alongside broadening our retail offer and making an appealing entrance for visitors travelling in from Dieppe.

Councillor James MacCleary, leader of Lewes District Council and local councillor for Newhaven South heralded the arrival of the store as evidence of the progress the town is making in attracting retailers.

As a result, he said he as “very much look forward to the store opening”.

It will neighbour Lidl store on Drove Road, Newhaven and is part of on going projects to improve and transform the port town.

The Range currently has Sussex sites in Eastbourne, Worthing, Chichester and Crawley.
