Seaford MP, Maria Caulfield, has joins members of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce at their monthly business networking breakfast.
Seaford Chamber of Commerce hold business networking breakfasts every month enabling local business owners to discuss local issues and support & collaborate with each other. Normally the meetings are held in person but due to the Covid-19 pandemic the meetings are currently happening virtually over Zoom.
Issues raised with Maria Caulfield MP included government support for businesses and the self-employed, support for Newhaven Port, infrastructure projects such as the A27 and Exceat Bridge, as well as government funding for the regeneration of Newhaven.
Maria Caulfield MP said “It was a pleasure to join Seaford Chamber of Commerce and local business owners for their monthly business networking breakfast. It was very interesting to take part in the discussions and to listen to how everyone is coping during the lockdown and what preparations are being made as we look to ease out of restrictions. It was also great to be able to update local business leaders on some of the exciting things that are happening locally such as Exceat Bridge receiving temporary traffic lights until a new bridge is built, and the large amounts of government funding that is going into the regeneration of Newhaven.”
“I hope to be able to catch up with the Seaford Chamber of Commerce again soon, and would encourage any local business owners not involved with them to get in contact with them.”
