New ITV crime drama ‘Grace’ airs tonight (March 14th) at 8pm. The series is based on Sussex author Peter James’ first two books, Dead Simple and Looking Dead Good and filmed entirely at locations in Sussex, with Life on Mars star John Simm in the lead role as detective Roy Grace. According to the ITV synopsis, the first film, Dead Simple, “opens with Grace running enquiries into long forgotten cold cases with little or no prospect of success. Viewers will see hot spots such as The Smugglers Rest pub in Telscombe Cliffs, Peacehaven and Newhaven Harbour. Tonight’s episode is part one of two in the series.
