At 4.30pm yesterday, a huge rockfall landed in the sea at Seaford Head Cliffs.
Dust could be seen for miles as tonnes of chalk, rocks and debris landed on the beach below.
Passerby Brian Noon said “I was down by the cafe at Splash point and suddenly I saw this massive dust cloud across the seafront. It looked like a tornado.”
Walkers are warned to stay away from the edge of the cliffs as natural errosion is high in the Seahaven and rockfall is a common occurance in the area.
Please keep safe and if you are walking on the cliff top and in a coastal emergency call the Coast Guard on 999.
