Maria Caulfield MP urges Seaford residents to join Seaford Football Club local discount scheme

Maria Caulfield MP is urging residents in Seaford to support their local football club and local businesses by joining the new local community discount card scheme.

The Seaford MP joined Seaford Town FC to launch the Community Card and handed out awards to players, alongside Seaford Town Mayor, Cllr Rodney Reed. The attached photo shows Maria Caulfield MP, Tom Webster (Chair of Seaford Town FC), Cllr Rodney Reed (Mayor of Seaford) and his wife at the launch of the Seaford Town FC Community Card.

The spirit behind the Community Card is for us all to think Seaford first. With local discounts we can keep the high street busy and support our neighbours businesses and help them to grow. Working together as a community supporting each other.

The Community Discount Card costs £25 which is valid for 12 months. Cards will renew annually at which point a new card will be sent. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time at no cost.

Seaford Town FC would also like to support local good causes and £1 from every card will go into a pot with the money being donated to various Seaford based causes and charities.

Maria Caulfield MP said “The Community Card is a fantastic idea that will mean residents can support their local football club, local businesses and local charities. The card can also be upgraded to have the addition of being a season ticket allowing free at entry access to all of the first team home league fixtures.”

“I would like to thank Seaford Town FC for this fantastic idea and for supporting local businesses and charities. It was fantastic to be able to be with them and the Mayor of Seaford, Cllr Rodney Reed, to help launch the card. I hope that local residents will be able to purchase a card and support their local community.”
