On Tuesday 23rd March, Seaford Town Council joined Marie Curie’s National Day of Reflection which marked the anniversary of the first national lockdown. A minute’s silence was held at midday to remember those who have lost their lives and loved ones to Covid-19.
While the last year has been challenging, the Town Council have been astounded at the volume of support, kindness and resilience this community has shown throughout the pandemic as highlighted by the Mayor’s Covid Hero Certificates last month.
The Town Council are also excited to announce that through their continued hard work to support residents, promote the town and preserve the traditions Seaford prides itself on as a community, they have won a national award and placed 2nd in another. See our previous report of Wednesday 24th March.
