They’re expecting buses to be busier than they have been, as lockdown has eased slightly, especially over this Easter weekend. They have the usual safety measures in place to make your journey safer.
There are still capacity restrictions on buses so they will carry fewer people, so please plan your journey and also give yourself extra time in case the bus is full as you may need to wait for the next bus. If you use the ‘track my bus’ function in the journey planner you can see how busy the bus is. Passenger levels on our buses are monitored at all times.
If you haven’t been on the bus for a while because of the lockdown, here is some some guidance on what to do to make travel safer for you and for everyone:-
Wear a face covering, unless exempt
Use the hand sanitiser on board
Social distance – only sit with your household or bubble
Keep windows open
Pay for travel with our app, key smartcard or contactless
