NEWHAVEN – Lockdown meant time for improvement and investment

The enforced Covid lockdown provided the ideal opportunity for a family-run business to invest in improvements. As the shutters went down on the restaurant and visitor attractions at Paradise Park in Newhaven at the end of last year, staff moved in to create an outdoor dining area which is opening on Monday 12th April as lockdown eases. “We had already decided to improve our outside seating area as part of Paradise Park’s ongoing improvement works, but when the government announced the rules around cafes and restaurants reopening we stepped up our efforts to be ready for April 12th and it is a real tribute to our internal team that they managed to get the work done in time”, explains director Darren Clift.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming new and regular customers back to the restaurant and showing them the improvements we have made during the forced closure. We hope everyone enjoys sipping a delicious beverage whilst looking out over our beautiful gardens,” he added.

Paradise Park is already working on further improvements in time for the permitted opening of its botanic garden and other indoor and outdoor attractions.
