The annual BIG Futures Show is the largest employability, skills and jobs event in East Sussex and is aimed at students aged 14+ from across the County as well as parents and anyone looking for work or training. It is interactive, inspiring and helps schools to meet governments guidelines in delivering a quality careers programme for their students.
The absence of last year’s event has meant that school students have missed out on life changing face to face experiences with businesses to help guide them toward their ‘BIG Future’. Businesses have also missed the opportunity to reach out to a wide audience to showcase their business and industry and to meet candidates for vacancies now and in the future.
With restrictions easing, The BIG Futures Show is returning for its fifth year on Tuesday 13 July and is being held at Eastbourne Sports Park. There will be over 80 exhibitors, and schools such as Gildredge House and Cavendish School in Eastbourne are bringing an entire year group.
This annual event is organised by a local charity, the Eastbourne Education Business Partnership, in association with Eastbourne Borough Council.
The organisers are following the development of the Roadmap and guidance on making events covid-safe, and are seeking advice from experts and partners to ensure appropriate measures are in place. These measures will be published in advance of the event.
